[Christina Nadeau] My name is Christina Nadeau. I am the Manager of Equipment & Functional Support for Kroger Health. In my role, I am responsible for all of the equipment in our pharmacies. That includes drive-thrus, refrigeration, automation, basically anything that keeps our pharmacies running. So I have a real understanding of the need to have reliable and safe equipment that our pharmacies can count on.
There are so many regulations and guidelines that we have to follow, and they're ever-changing. So having a system that could very easily change very quickly was really key. We wanted something that was healthcare focused. We wanted something that was easy for our teams to use. We really wanted a one-stop shop for our teams to have all the tools they needed.
With our previous system, its centralized visibility, it wasn't super accessible outside of the Kroger network. So having a tool that our leadership can see at any time, see what's happening in real time, has been valuable. The ease of the system has been really appreciated by our teams. It wasn't difficult for them to learn SmartSense. They were able to adapt relatively quickly. Having everything right on hand, knowing that the alerts they're getting are true has been just such an immense change for them.
So we have 2,200 pharmacies and we have 200 clinics. So finding something that was good for everybody was a challenge. We looked at a few systems before we decided SmartSense was the one for us. And because we see so many different types of products, we see vaccines, we see blood samples, we see lab specimens, it was really key for us to find something that could meet all of those many criteria and really be able to again change quickly for those ever-changing guidelines.
